sorry about my absence. i've been posting on the xanga, but i keep forgetting about this site.
there's not really that much to update you all on. school's hard, but what else is new. cheerleading is fun, but sometimes our coach doesn't use us new girls as often : ( i would just really like to find out what i'm capable of. my roomie is flippin sweet and as weird as i am. tea with joel at breakfast is good times. the M. W. Smith concert is on Thursday...joel is really excited. i mean REALLY. lol. i love working out with my roomie and joel. it's sooooo gonna pay off. yay! : )

uhhh......maybe more later. i'm gonna go sit with a rando now. later.

duds and suds...minus the duds

so community showers...they're kinda like a party.
i wasn't sure about them at first, but this morning we were all in there showering with the radio on, and i was like, "this is pretty sweet."

wow...i have definitely had a busy 2 days.

yesterday morning i packed up suzie and went to work for a pointless and hot 3 hours. i'm on my way out of town on 69 south and some rando decides to boof suzie from behind. luckily the cops were like right behind us, so we exchanged info and stuffs and i proceeded on down 435 and such and on to BOLIVAR!! i finally got there around 4:30. after hauling all my stuff up to my room, joel and i went to kathy's pasta (yummy). he dropped me off at the dorm to arrange some stuff. i, of course, fell asleep and then called him later for a wal-mart run. took a shower, then snuggled into bed...sigh.
today i was up at 8 when all the girls started coming in. grabbed some breakfast then did all the registration, bookstore, id. pictures, blah, blah, blah stuff. after that we met up with our family groups and did the get to know you games. apparently some ppl do not know that cars need names. lolz. we had dinner and then did a kind of kickoff rally thing in the auditorium. dorm meeting at 9...oh girls, how can anyone stand us? then our brother dorm, maupin, came over in togas and BK crowns and sang "you've lost that loving feelin" to us on the front lawn.

oh the craziness.......some of these girls are a bit intimidating, and i can't wait for my roomate to get here (tuesday). mostly because she has the television......j/k : )

SHOES!!!

so i just bought 2 pairs of shoes yesterday. holy crep! i heart shoes. i finally have some REAL tennis shoes. like they make running, walking, and standing less painful. and they're purple and white...go bearcats...woo! ok i sound so stupid right now . anywho, i went for a run/walk in them this morning and lets just say that me and the shoes now have a very close, intimate relationship. the other pair i got cuase they are pumas and well i heart cats. esp cats on shoes. also they are blue, and blue is a weakness. i could buy most things based just on the fact that they were blue.

oh yes, this is also exciting. i've been emailing with my roomie for this year and, again, holy crep! i love her already. we wear the same size shoes, watch FRIENDS, and are totally weird. i can't believe i got so lucky. ok well not lucky...God's just taking care of me. like woah. i'm so excited. i'm gonna miss ppl, but i know i'll have a great time at school.

umm i took care of all that stolen wallet mess pretty much. made a police report, got my money put back into my account, new DL, can't replace most of the other stuff tho. i'm still bitter about that. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

so there has been much time spent with smavid and yeah. some things happened. no, not those things. more like"growing experience" things.

so we did and everything's fine. i think i realized that beings friends with him is actually better than like, dating him. oh jeeze i feel like such a girl right now. lol. it's still kinda hard to be around him because i'm still attracted to him of course, but now there's not so much tension inside of me. like everytime i would see him i would get all nervous and uncomfortable cause i was like 'does he like me, omg, i want him to like me'. no more of that now...for the most part : )

my dad and andy filled out the application for my loan for school. now we play the waiting game. lol.

ummm...this week was VBS
it was tons of fun. much dancing of course.

work is going well. not much to say. the ppl i work with are pretty cool. i'm such an idiot. i never know how to do everything, and they still put up with me. i don't know if i mentioned it, but i work at Vintage Stock on 92nd and Metcalf. come and visit me.
